Cumbia, Caribbean Vinyl, and Tropical Cocktails Take Over Gram’s Basement
DENVER, CO — La Vista Motel and El Piñon are closing out summer with a Tiki Night in Gram's Basement on Saturday, September 5, from 8 to 11 p.m., featuring an all-vinyl set of cumbia and Caribbean music from Mister Niño.
Mister Niño will spin an all-vinyl set of cumbia and Caribbean rhythms throughout the night. Cumbia, a popular musical rhythm and folk dance rooted in Latin America, sets the tone for an evening that leans fully into the tropical theme, with Gram’s Basement decked out in tropical decor for the occasion.
Guests can enjoy complimentary chili-lime popcorn and fresh pineapple sprinkled with Tajín on the house, alongside Summer Rum Punch on draft and a Tiki Specialty Cocktail available for one night only. The event is free with no cover charge.
