La Vista Motel and El Piñon Launch Football Watch Party Packages in Gram's Basement
Private Game Day Packages with Full Bar, Big Screen, and Retro Basement Charm on East Colfax
DENVER, CO — La Vista Motel and El Piñon are now booking private football watch parties in Gram's Basement for the 2026 college and NFL season, offering groups a private room, a full bar, and their favorite team on the big screen for game day.
Gram's Basement, El Piñon’s retro, wood-paneled basement lounge, accommodates groups of up to 40 guests with no fee and no guest minimum. Instead, each package is built around a bar minimum that scales with how a group wants to watch. The space is outfitted with a big screen and sound system that can be tuned to any game, giving groups a private alternative to the standard sports bar experience.
Three Ways to Watch
- Kickoff ($400 bar minimum) — Private use of Gram's Basement, big screen and sound tuned to the game, and specialty beer and seltzer buckets plus bottle service.
- Red Zone ($600 bar minimum) — Everything in Kickoff, plus a shared game-day spread from one of El Piñon's preferred local neighbors, with both food and drinks counting toward the minimum.
- MVP ($800 bar minimum) — Everything in Red Zone, plus a custom cocktail built by El Piñon's bar team and named for the group's crew or team, along with a dedicated server assigned to the party for the entire game.

El Piñon's full bar is available in every tier, and any order from the regular menu counts toward the group's minimum. Specialty beer and seltzer buckets are available with a choice of Lone Star, Miller High Life, Suncruiser, or High Noon, and bottle service includes a bottle of Rosé or Cava served with a juice mixer for the table. Groups booking the Kickoff or Red Zone tiers can also add a specialty batched cocktail, custom-built by the bar team and priced by guest count and cocktail selection.
True to the space's name, no one is ever turned away for bringing a dish to Gram's Basement. Groups are welcome to bring their own snacks, sides, or a treat to share.
El Piñon coordinates catering for the packages starting with Supreme Chicken, with additional local food options to follow. Catering can be arranged directly through El Piñon and added to the group's final total, or guests are welcome to bring or arrange their own food.
